Business Sponsors Every year Good Works looks to partner with businesses to help people who are battling poverty and homelessness in southeastern Ohio.  The Good Works Timothy House is the only homeless shelter in 9 southeastern Ohio counties (Athens, Washington, Hocking, Gallia, Morgan, Jackson, Vinton, Washington, and Perry), and the Walk for the Homeless is designed to increase awareness around the issues of rural poverty (especially in our region) and raise much needed funds for The Timothy House.  The Timothy House only gets one government grant for about $60,000 and Good Works must raise an additional $120,000 a year to keep the Timothy House’s doors open.   When a company decides to sponsor the Walk they will get either their business name or logo on the 500+ t-shirts we give to the walking participants!  Last year we had about 500 people come to the Walk for the Homeless and we are hoping for even more this year! $125 sponsorship will get your company’s name printed on the Walk t-shirts. $300 sponsorship will get your company’s logo printed on the Walk t-shirts.
